Reignbeaux

Rainbows! And raglans.

Reignbeaux (Payhip link) is a unique design by Yelleyknits.
From the construction which starts from the side rainbow, to the custom fit spreadsheet to get the perfect fit for yourself.

With endless possibilities in colour options (I was really tempted to make it with a bright body and grey fade rainbow)

I opted for the V neck, although it does have a crew neck option as well.

I knit mine with 4″ ease at the full bust and 2″ ease at the sleeve.

This gave me a 54″ full bust finished size.

I did have to fight a bit to get the V neck decreases to work for the neckline due to a smaller upper bust/narrow shoulder compared with full bust.

I wouldn’t recommend this as a beginners pattern. Some understanding of sweater construction and adjustments would be recommended.

If I was to knit it a 2nd time I’d do a single rainbow on the size, so 2 repeats of each colour next to each other rather than 2 complete rainbows sitting on top of each other.
And shorten my sleeves which ended up being a little too long after blocking.
I’d also make the sleeve width at the top narrower to pull the raglan seam up to be more in line with the arm crease.
